This iron heats up quickly and the steam is a great feature! I did have to go over the area a few times to get the tougher wrinkles out, and occasionally with the steam feature, too much water came out. However, that being said, this is a lightweight, easy to use iron with a long reaching cord to simplify matters.

leaks water even when tank is less than full (spots clothes) The auto off safety feature cuts iron off even when you are using it (moving back and forth) My first black and decker iron lasted 20yrs now they are just junk!

I got this iron because of its steel sole and steam. I only used it once and noticed that it automatically shuts off (light is on though). User guide says that it auto shuts off if left on sole for 30 seconds. I don't think anyone would leave their iron on setting 6 for 30 seconds. Disappointed! Will be returning the product!

I purchased this iron for quilting. I cannot see the water level. Why is the glass black? I do a lot of ironing and I need to know when my water is running low.
